1. Overview

Thank you for supporting UNBOUND HORIZONS. We deeply appreciate your generosity and commitment to our mission.

Because donations are immediately used to support our charitable programs and operations, we generally cannot offer refunds once a donation has been processed. However, we understand that errors can happen, and we will review all refund requests carefully.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • The donation was made by error or in the wrong amount.

  • Duplicate transactions were processed.

  • The donor’s payment was unauthorized or fraudulent.

To request a refund, please contact us within 7 calendar days of the donation date.

3. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please email us at:

Include the following details:

  • Full name of the donor

  • Donation date and amount

  • Transaction ID (from your Stripe receipt or confirmation email)

  • Reason for the refund request

We will review the request and respond within 5–10 business days.

4. Processing Refunds

If your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

  • Processing fees charged by Stripe may not be refundable.

5. Recurring Donations

If you are enrolled in a recurring (monthly or annual) donation plan, you may cancel future payments at any time by contacting us at support@unboundhorizons.org.
Cancellations take effect immediately for future transactions, but past donations cannot be refunded once processed.

6. Tax-Deductible Donations

Please note:

  • If a tax receipt has already been issued, and a refund is granted, the receipt becomes invalid.

  • You must adjust your tax records accordingly.
